Nationwide DVD and VOD release – Monday 13th February!
Following our successful pre-release in December, we are delighted to announce that ChickLit will be available on DVD and Video on Demand nationwide, from 13th February (just in time for Valentine’s Day!)
We were overwhelmed by the support of local fans and our online community in December and we hope the rest of the country will enjoy it just as much! As we have said before, home entertainment sales (DVD and Video on Demand) are a crucial part of the recoupment on independent features like ChickLit, so every copy sold gets us that little bit closer to making more films that we hope you will all enjoy.
You can pre-order a copy from Amazon now, and from 13th February, it will be available in store at HMV, Asda and Sainsbury’s. The DVD has some great special features, including deleted scenes, director’s commentary and lovely interviews with the cast. ChickLit is also be available to stream and download from Amazon and iTunes – if you like the film, please do go ahead and leave us a review – it really does make a difference! We would like to say how deeply saddened we are by the recent loss of Sir John Hurt, who delighted us with his highly amusing performance as Francis Bonar in ChickLit . As many of you will know, John was a long-time supporter of independent film and our work at Capriol, and he will be sorely missed. |
